What is wrong to me is, to try to pull the undergrad rites of passage on a grad dude, that's bullshit. Let people choose their rites of passage. If you are grad, can afford the intake fee, you must be doing good enough for your self as a grown dude, let that be ROP enough, do the ceremony, and let dude do the community service. All that other extra stuff is bullshit to do for a grown ass dude out of college. They don't make any of the honorary celebrity or richer business owners go through that shit.
