Though I think your first statement is well put.

I had an encounter with the latter type a few days ago.

I can't remember the last time my wavelengths were so out of tune with someone else. He kept using business lingo from the late 90's. For once in my life I was speechless.

I never know what to do when I encounter those black people who are so steadfast in their insistence that they're leading black people forward, but do so through buying into the system. And I don't mean black conservatives. I mean the type of black person who votes democrat, but constantly complains about poor black people, while quoting David Ramsay.
