i love how they just barely skirt the realness of Charlie's aimless life lol, culminating with him saying he was the very thing he beats to death every day (i like to think there's some subtle subtext going on every now n then). the bridge ppls scene was a fucking TRIP lol. i was hyped up off prescription meds and 3 fat joints when i witnessed it, and holy shit that scene was BUILT for stoners. awesomely abstract scene, gave me the same "wtf" random feeling i got when i first saw David Lynch's "Blue Velvet".
