beyond the fact this is all loosely based on true events, they explain how the parts in AC did not get paid attention to at all like they were in other places, which is why you have guys from chicago and nyc needing AC to get liquor...
Also, this whole show is based on a book... wasnt some dude strictly pitching a tv show in AC
