Nice bit of exposition to start the episode, showing us all of the pies Nucky has a thumb in as well as calling into question how a County Treasurer could get that kind of power.

The show still looks as good and as expensive as the movie-quality pilot. I did miss the Scorsese flourishes though.

I'm trying to remember from the pilot...did Al/Jimmy remove their masks for the guy-in-the-woods to see or mess up in any other way (aside from killing everyone)?
