We know she's living life under an alias but we're not
quite sure what kind of dark past she really comes from.
Certain clues like her indifference towards anything
related to Irish causes and her savvy ability to hustle
cops to get Nucky's ledger tells me she's been around
the block and is more street smart than she leads on.
I mean, come on, she basically shrugged her shoulders
when it came to the death of her pos husband (pos or
not, you gotta feel some way about it) and stuck with
Nucky when he was both a prohibitionist and a runner of
hooch. All this with very little questions asked. Yeah,
I'm pretty certain her past has trained her well for
all of this.
