As someone else said, I love that the lines are being clearly defined and that Nucky isn't really in the dark on any of it.

Loved Jimmy in New York, politely brushing off Luciano in front of Rothstein and then going right at him in front of Lansky.

Speaking of New York, there isn't a Boardwalk Empire review that doesn't mention the difficulty of writing a show that is part fiction/part real life. But for my money the stuff in Chicago and New York with the real life Gangsters are my favorite parts of the show.

Loved the Chalky scenes this week, his role has been greatly expanded and I'm very interested to see how it folds into the Nucky vs. Them plotline.

No Van Alden this week, so we're still left wondering where he fits into the big picture as well.

So that Irish guy is sticking around, right? Will Mrs. Schroeder have a wandering eye? Also, where have I seen that actor before?
