... Granted, I hope it's not something that happens on the last or second-to-last episode of the series but maybe halfway through next season (which I still suspect and partway hope will be the last). Because honestly, where could the show go from there? It's the logical conclusion.

I'm digging the way this season has righted itself after a ho-hum beginning (though I'd still place it probably at the bottom of the five seasons so far), but it's going to be annoying if everything just wraps up conveniently for Dexter yet again. If this season doesn't end with Deb having at least a smidgen of suspicion about Dex, I'm going to be disappointed.
