there's not many good storylines going on.

quinn / deb - this is just plain stupid and annoying.

laguerta / angel - i cringe when they are on screen together. not compelling at all.

the santa muerte killer - this should be the focus of the season, but dexter isnt even involved. he's tied up with lumen and her issues.

dexter / lumen - this would be OK if lumen wasnt as dumb as a pile of bricks. instead, its just become annoying after the latest episode. shes all riled up on emotions and acting highly irrationally- and because of this, Dex has to get caught up in her bullshit. The problem is I dont care for Lumen. She was dumped on us earlier this season and the only vested interest we have in her is her ties to Dexter if she gets caught. Thats not a very compelling reason to make her the forefront of the season and the main story arc of the season thus far.


coming off the incredible previous season, I knew they would never top it.... but this season is just a mess.
