Its a wonder how impatient people are. So many
people bitched about how slow and uneventful this
season was a few weeks ago but forget that the
the first 3 or 4 episodes of every season have
started at a slow pace.

I'm really enjoying this relationship (whether
romantic or not) between Dexter and Lumen. The
common thread throughout the entire episode was
renewed relationships between three couples: Angel
and Laguerta agreeing to try harder, douchey Quinn
and Deb professing their lo..uh intense like for
each other (should be interesting to see how
Quinn's shady investigation of Dexter pans out)
and Dexter and Lumen finding a new found admiration
for each other (given the other relationships are
romantic, I'll take it as a hint that there will
be some spark between Dex and Lumen).

How intense was that warehouse scene? Its crazy
how I know, 100%, that Dexter is going to find a
way out of this crazy predicament, yet, even with
this knowledge I was on the edge of my seat. By
the way, I would like to send a special 'thank
you' to Misuka's comic relief (his recreation of
what happened in the warehouse had my laughing
my ass off). After that sensory overload of
tension between Dex, Lumen, Seran Wrap guy, the
rapist, the fastly approaching homocide squad,
plus the Nanny and his kid, I needed a good
'LMAO' to calm my nerves. That entire scene may
be one of the most tense sequences that I have
experienced in the entire series.
