i hope that some how some way dexter pins this kyle butler stuff on elliot. i'm only a couple minutes in on the second episode but the whole time i'm watching the kitchen scene where elliot delivers dex's mail i'm thinking that they are fairly similar physically in the face. similar enough that if you had a not so great composite sketch of dex you might mistakenly choose elliot.

of course it would be hard for this to work since lithgow's fam knows what dex looks like in person, but still it's a thought.
