I knew that all the other characters weren't well developed but when he's not in those scenes it just becomes painfully obvious. Hopefully as the season goes on they limit the time we have to live with their incredibly flat story lines on screen.

I'd rather watch Dexter buying groceries and playing Mr. Mom than see Deb do anything.

Oh, and the kids. I know it's tough to lose your Mom and all but I don't really care too much. These first episodes really had the feel of a show that might be close to the downslide but I'm hanging on and having faith that they'll pull something out.
