They ran all the way from Boston, but still hadn't fixed anything. And now they were about to run again. So Violet threatened to run away as a payback, to teach them lesson.

She doesn't seem to be afraid of what's been happening. She was geeked to move in once she found out the house had a murderous history. I mean, she was initially freaked out from Tate's handling of Leah the bully, but she's still intrigued by him. She eventually became friends with Leah. And she was so nonchalant and unimpressed being held hostage by the goofball home invaders, I think she'd actually embrace the hauntings if confronted. I also get the feeling she already knows Tate may be supernatural, and doesn't want to leave.
