187412, Damn, a lot of people left at his last show in ATL Posted by Coco la chapelle, Sat Feb-20-10 11:51 AM
I wasn't there but people have talked about it in The General Discussion board
>Anyone go to 18th and Vine for this? And if you did go, did >you stay for Bilal? I've never seen more of a mass exodous >from a venue within the first song of any performer.
What was the first song ? Was it that bad ?
>Maysa KILLED -- especially her Gil Scott Heron cover. And it >was great to see everyone diggin on her. But I just wasn't >aware of how confusing Bilal's music must be for some people.
I've always think he wasn't for everyone but it's like he doesn't care, he just keep singing however he feels like. >Sure, the sound guy wasn't the greatest, but he wasn't great >for Maysa either. And even though Bilal sustained his >stupidity all the way through the distractions I could still >see some discouragement in him. No encore, no words or >anything at the end. He just stopped and I couldn't blame >him. Just wondering if anyone else had opinions on this show.
Shit, Bilal showed some discouragement, that's how bad the show went ! His my dude but I think it can only be good for him, I hope he will work his ass off and come back in great shape !
