Anyone else going? There is promotion all over Twitter but I haven't seen anything on the boards. Should be tight with special guests. $20. Dilated is one of the under-appreciated live hip hop acts around IMO.

Was a pretty good show. Seen Dilated a bunch of times it seemed like maybe the crowd wasn't as hyped as usual and the performance lacked a bit as a result or maybe it was since these guys aren't playing a lot together recently but it seemed a little "off" as opposed to what I am used to from them but it was still really live.

Did all the classic Dilated joints. Played "World on Wheels" which they said it was the first time they ever played live:

Rakka did two joints off his solo record that is coming in Feb. ("Crown of Thorns") they sounded pretty tight (will add the Youtube links here when uploaded) I really liked the first one.

They had a bunch of guests come up at the end. I know one was Krondon (how can U miss him?) I think Defari and Planet Asia was there and at least came out with the opener. Not sure who all was there I don't know a lot of these cats, was drunk and didn't have my glasses on.

One drawback was that this show was 15+ all ages. There were a few youngsters there but no trouble or foolishness.

It'll be about time.

It's long overdue, if you ask me.

I remember when these guys were saying there would be a new Dilated Peoples record in '09, and we know that isn't happening.

I'd love to hear how this went.
Liking what Ev's been doing lately, but Rakaa's been pretty quiet of late. Nice to hear they're linking back up.
