a blu ray with a nice dts-ma audio track to go with it would be good. why hasn't this happened yet? it seems like everyone else has one, and many of those are inferior artists.

It's really a shame, and a sad reflection on the state of labels and the music insdustry that The Roots Come Alive 2 or 3 (etc) never materialized. I loved volume 1, but their sound has changed so much and so many times since then! I guess it could be argued that their studio albums have sold less with each new release, but I figure a Live album has the potential to be better than a Roots Studio album.
I also disagree with ?uesto's thinking that a live DVD or CD would take away from their live show. I think it would encourage people to check them out live.
There'll be something eventually I'm sure. I'm just impatient.

I've exhausted this issue in the past, so I'll just say that with the Fallon gig and the now limited touring, I absolutely urge Quest and Rich to revisit this strategy again.

i completely agree. i've taken friends to their shows that would have never imagined it would have been as good as it was. if more people heard the live sound, it would definitely encourage them to listen to them more.
