To me at least. One question I always had about the cats around here: why does everyone dislike Finding Forever? Maybe it's just a personal preference thing, but I enjoyed it. Not as much as BE but a lot more than UMC. But on the boards, I do see a lot of dislike for it? Will someone explain their reasoning to me?

It was lazy. There was clearly no direction on the album, just "if it ain't broke don't fix it". No passion, no feeling. Common even admitted that someone else told him "your album's done". That's unheard of in his career. We listen to Common because he's always put together great, cohesive albums and worked so hard on the final product, a perfectionist...to know that he had very little to do with that album was disappointing.
There were some songs that were OK and stick out, but it was redundant.

The Original "Ghetto Heaven" w/ D'Angelo is way better IMO. It's lot more soulful and just fit the album much better.

But it is also the best part of the album, which is kinda depressing since resurrection, one day, and LWFC where all great albums all the way through. After the intro BE is just meh, IMO.
