We tried to tell you that The Jimmy Fallon Show wasn't going to stop The Lengendary Roots Crew from bringing you and yours the best live show money can buy. First there was Rock The Bells, and now you can catch The Roots on the 4th annual Hennessy Artistry Tour, alongside Common. "Hosted exclusively by Hennessy, each show will feature a unique blend of performers and collaborators ranging from up-and-coming talent to cameos by iconic special guests." Says Common of the tour: "The Roots and I are really collaborating to create a musical blend of talent that will do Artistry justice. We are planning some surprises as well, it should be quite an experience and I am thrilled to be a part of it." Good hip-hop meets good cognac... it gets no better. Follow me after the jump for the tour dates.

9/19 - Atlanta - The Velvet Room
10/03 - Houston - The Corinthian

go there, become a fan, download/install their face book widget on to your page. Click the widget once it's on your page and choose the city you want to see the show at. You will have to enter a SMS capable cell phone number. They will update you by text message for the RSVP link when or if it becomes available. You have to confirm by replying with a text message HENNESSY1 YES to be in consideration for the RSVP. You can stop the text messages after the event, they will send you instructions how, like replying with a text HENNESSY1 STOP. Peace.
