Last night on twitter, Q-Tip started the campaign to get The Roots added to VH1's 2009 Hip Hop Honors show in October.

Q-Tip asked anyone on twitter to create an online petition.

I stepped up and created the petition that can be found at the link below.

We currently have 550 signatures and we need more!

We need this link spread to everyone who wants to see The Roots onstage being honored this year!
