I'm not really feelin this. I like stripped down and simple, but this is just TOO much of it.
The guitar playing is pretty good, I just think it sounds too simple on its own.
I like the lyrics that you wrote, I do think you have some potential as far as that goes. However, I think your delivery needs some work. When I listen to you rap, I just don't think it's quite smooth and flowing enough. It's almost like you sound like you're getting behind and trying to catch up to get back on track at some parts. I see that most of this was done in one take though, so maybe that played a factor.
Like I said though, I do see potential in your writing and your friends' guitar playing, the track itself just needs to be more polished. Check out my stuff as well.
