We all love and respect their work.
When we get a glimpse of what they did to make certain tracks, we get super excited because lets face it, we are true fans and that's what fans do.

That being said, they did what they the way they did it simply out of necessity.
Technology wasnt like it is now so they did what they had to do to get the desired result.

It just so happens we love hearing all of that stuff and it makes the music that much better knowing what went into it.

Nowadays, there is software that can do pretty much whatever you want it to do so the need to do what they did isn't always there.
