19853, midi controller question
Posted by dmp, Tue Dec-26-06 01:42 PM
I have an m-audio keyboard/controller plugged through usb, and set up to work in reason 3, but only the knobs work. The keys just aren't detected by the computer. Has anyone had that problem?

19918, well have you set it up as a MIDI device in reason?

If you go to the midi keyboards section of preferences, it should have your exact keyboard listed.

It has M-Audio, but not the model I have... But even in FL Studio, it only reacts to the knobs, not any of the keys, so I'm afraid it could be an inernal hardware flaw.
20054, Is it possible to change over to standard MIDI connection?

USB MIDI is an untamed beast at this stage of the game.

If you're trying to do much of anything with a laptop's onboard sound, you may run across a number of problems.
