didn't Costigan ask Anthony Anderson (did his character even have a name?) why he didn't bring Dignam? I'm pretty sure he asked him that, so i took it to mean he (Costigan) couldn't find Dignam on his own and asked AA to find him and bring him along when he confronted Matt Damon on the roof. that kind of monkeywrenched his whole scheme, but after nearly two and a half hours of playing Houdini, it was a pretty weak plan.
