At one time he was a huge star. I'd say I've liked 5 of his movie roles:

Silverado
Bull Durham
The Untouchables
Field of Dreams
JFK

After tht Untouchables/Bull Durham/Field of Dreams run, he became an A-list actor. And with the exception of JFK, done right at the beginning of that run, he has been shitty for the last 18 years.
