that was fun.

Haven't read the comics (my teenaged son has though).

I went in looking for fun and got it.

Creatively executed and directed. loose, fun, funny. we (my wife and I are 40 somethings and our kids are 16-19 somethings) all had a ball. I'd see it again.

not a 'spoiler' but may be more details than some may want:
I personally really enjoyed the way music played an important role in the film (good music too). In fact i enjoyed the music so much and felt it was so integral that i think reading the books now (without the music) might be a let down. Then again i could always get the soundtrack and read the books while its playing it right?

one more thing, Michael Cera sure can pull some babes...the absolutely adorable Asian chick and the American chick both diggin my boy. Dudes a pimp...


anyway, it had a full theater at the midnight showing tonight. All seemed to be having a good time. Lots of laughing over some of the dialog, so thats a good sign.
