I had exactly the same experinece. I rarely leave a film feeling the way I felt after viewing that film. It was a relevation plan and simple. There was no QT hype at that time. Pulp Fiction came right out of the blue. Those of us who saw it Pre-hype and Pre-critical overkill can't be talked out of liking it based on some critical analysis. We didn't think it, we felt it.
