To me, that scene makes the microprocessor deal in The Departed look like a documentary. Someone text messaging in their pocket is beyond preposterous yet sneaking a gun on the field and blowing your brains out is sensible? I'm sorry but "Sure it's over the top, but in a sensible way" is almost the definition of copping pleas.

As for the rest of this, there's really no point.

You presented an opposing argument that I, and I don't think anyone else in this post, agrees with.

You then moved forward with a premise that there's some vast conspiracy to convince people to love Pulp Fiction and that anyone who liked Pulp Fiction doesn't actually like it, they are just brainwashed.

And you finish with the fact that some arguments are just too subjective to make as if most discussions about film have a definite right or wrong answer.

I'd say "in the end" but this exercise in typing really has no end so I'll just stop.
