And I like Last Boy Scout but it isn't in the same league as Pulp Fiction IMO.

I think Pulp Fiction, like Juno (which I think was entertaining but superficial and not insightful at all), became a phenomenon and was overrated. But Pulp Fiction's a great film and definitely deserved the Oscar nods it received.

You are just dead wrong about this. The film is called "Pulp Fiction", there's nothing deep about it and it's not sophisticated at all. Anyone who acts like it was some meaningful picture is an idiot. Yeah, there are some people who go into the whole suitcase but I really don't think most people feel this way. You are taking the fanboys of the film and extending their delusions to everyone.

If you are going to compare Pulp Fiction to a Shane Black film, compare it to Lethal Weapon, not The Last Boy Scout.
