the ambush was distressing enough, then he gets blown up by his own bomb and stuck in a cave with a doctor who lost his entire family to his own weapons and who later dies.


And it is better than Batman begins. I can barely ever remember who the villains were in that and its best action scene is an exceedingly generic car chase. Then there's Katie Holmes.
Everything about Iron Man is just so much more alive and convincing.
