Finally read this one, and I gotta give it the thumbs up. It's a tentative thumbs up, mind you (I'm reminded of a 'House of M #1 was better than I expected!' post I made not all that long ago) But so far so good.

I guess if you've been following the Civil War build up, there's no real revelations here. It's pretty much what you would expect. But it works.

In fact, it almost works as an advantage at times... like the scene where Cap is meeting with the SHIELD director. Now I already knew which way he was gonna swing, so there was some really good tension in those scenes before the shit hit the fan. That was cool.

And the art is phe-fucking-nomenal. No complaints there at all.

So far so good, and once again I'm sucked in to an event crossover. There should be a support group for guys like me.
