Flicks I've always REALLY wanted to see and never gotten around to.

Blue Velvet: My first Lynch. Real fucked up, but very very interesting. A very neat piece that deserves a second viewing.

Hannah and Her Sisters: Brilliant. I can't believe I hadn't seen this yet. So terrific. Will easily make my list.

The Player: Very fascinating stuff. The opening tracking shot set my expectations higher than I should have set them... I loved the satire of Hollywood, and was more interested in seeing more party scenes than more murder-mystery/meeting-the-Icelandic-chick scenes. Still, excellently crafted, a terrific ending, and it too deserves a second viewing to pick more up.

My list will be mostly American flicks, since I'm just simply not too familiar with many flicks from the outside. But that's another post to be made entirely.
