...but STFU, you haters are so caught up right now you can't even see through your veil of ignorance - I never said he's better than Hitchcock, but it's undeniable he is following Hitch's formula. He's a niche filmmaker, his work is pretty much in the same vein as The Twilight Zone as far as his political sentiments go and in the same storytelling vein as Hitchcock's works. Meanwhiles you have assholes like Brian DePalma, who's been trying to emulate Hitchcock since the 70's ("Sisters" is still an underappreciated horror classic, tho) and has never managed to carry that title as a certain generations Hitchcock.
