I guarantee his movies wouldn't look nearly as good and wouldn't have any type of "artistry" to them; in this one, because even he is conscious that his stiche is running dry, he goes for the R by needlesly goreing it up, not even hinting at the necessity of gore for horror movies, but just gore-for-gore's sake type crap. Visually, only three of his movies ever were "okay" and the one I like the most, the Village, was like a bad student sketch of Witness.
