Note: I didn't say I disliked the film (or otherwise). But I can't understand why nobody's taking issue with these contradictions. Cause it's not just me saying "this was done badly," it's that it was DELIBERATELY done badly, so I want to get to the bottom of it. People are treating it like it's a straight flick, which it aint.

And also, it's got nothing to do with Tarantino's previous style/films. He's actively SHUNNING all the things that Tarantino films are known for: intricate dialogue, complex stories, off-screen violence, vibrant characters/characterisation, consistency within its own strange world...

Aside from entertaining us, Tarantino must be making some sort of point. I want to know what it is.
