since i don't eat meat that makes it kinda tough.

but i think one is opening up near my school, they have any good veggie sandwhiches?

how's their bread?

the bread is most important.
5815, they do have veggie sandwiches

The bread is much better than what Subway has now. I miss Subway's old bread.

"I listened to most of your cd and really liked it. That was 2 weeks and it is still sitting in the player. CD's, just don't get spun much around here. Anyway I really liked it. I was impressed that it made no attempt to be hip hop in the sense that the beats are not hip hop beats. Instead it is original, melodic and listenable. I should have known, you listen to yourself in your writing and record collecting. It shouldn't be a surprise that you listen to yourself in your music as well." - Dan Berkman of Jump Jump Records in Portland, Oregon, commenting on my HOME album

I think they're Lays.
5821, here's a review
Posted by ricky_BUTLER, Wed Nov-05-03 10:30 AM
>I think they're Lays.

yep

Taste: I had no idea what the expect with these, figuring they could be awsome or awful. Turns out they're excellent chips. They're shaped like normal Lay's potato chips, but they're sort of a pale green in color. They really do taste like guacamole, and even better, it's hot guacamole! The avacado and guacamole taste is particularly unmistakable in the aftertaste. A winner.

Aroma: Very mild guac smell, but mostly like potato chips.

Manufacturer: Frito-Lay

From the bag: "The Cool Guacamole™ Flavor of traditional Mexico is now ln Lay's® Brand Potato Chips! We've combined the Cool Flavor of Guacamole and mild spices and put it on a crispy Lay's® Brand Potato Chip to creare an irrestistible Snacking Experience."

5822, Damn, you got me all hungry for these now!

i used to live like half a block from quizno's and went a couple times a week. it is damn expensive but worth it if you want a good sandwich. i'm very familiar w/ all the different sandwiches there, but usually i just get the standard versions of them without changing much.

my favorite part of the chicken carbonara is the bacon alfredo sauce. it really brings everything together well. i'm not sure about all the different breads you can get, theres italian ciabatta, wheat, white and this one with weird looking green spices in it. usually i just get wheat.

is anyone else disappointed by their "bbq" sauce? it just tastes strange to me. like they tried to make it spicy but it didnt work out.

also, if you feel like spending an extra dollar for chips at the store, my fav are the mesquite bbq kettle style. so good
5830, Those Lays Cool Guac chips are the truth!

5831, Guacamole-flavored chips comparison
Posted by ricky_BUTLER, Wed Nov-05-03 12:46 PM

Doritos Guacamole:At first, these taste sort of like Doritos and sort of like guacamole, but in the aftertaste there's a definite guacamole taste, slightly hot. The taste is much more like a guacamole-flavored chip than a chip dipped in guacamole, but it's pretty good. You get much more actual guacamole taste with these than you do with Guacachips.

El Sabroso Guacachip:These chips are similar in shape and consistency to Doritos, with a similar salty seasoning. The major difference is that these are a bright shade of green. They're good, but they only sort of taste like guacamole. If you eat a whole bunch of them, there might be some avocado taste, but generally the taste isn't a whole lot different from Doritos. Since I like Doritos, I like these too.

THE WINNER/Lays: I had no idea what the expect with these, figuring they could be awsome or awful. Turns out they're excellent chips. They're shaped like normal Lay's potato chips, but they're sort of a pale green in color. They really do taste like guacamole, and even better, it's hot guacamole! The avacado and guacamole taste is particularly unmistakable in the aftertaste. A winner.

>A review on Quiznos

(WINKthe last oneWINK)

-(1)

Quizno's restaurants are a nice change from ordinary submarine sandwich shops. The key difference is the toasted bread that Quizno's uses. Each sub is warmed through a conveyor toaster, making sure that your sub comes out hot and delicious.

The bread is only part of the reason why Quizno's subs are so tasty. The other reason is the quality ingredients and spices. The Mesquite Chicken with Bacon, for instance, includes all- white chicken strips with smoky mesquite flavor topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cool ranch dressing, and assorted spices. It all adds up to a delectable sub sandwich treat.
-(2)

Regular Menu:
The main choices in the menu are, of course, the sandwiches. The best ones are the Classic Italian, the Meatball Sandwich, and the Bistro Beef. All sandwiches are toasted, and that’s because none of them are good cold, or even room temperature, so all sandwiches are best toasted. They never burn the sandwiches, which was one of my biggest fears when I first visited Quizno’s. They have other types of sandwiches like turkey breast, and such. Anyways, they also added salads to their menus, and from third-party opinion, they’re great as well.
-(3)

I love Quizno's so much that I have filled out a marriage application to wed their Double Cheese Melt. We were just in the courting stage until I tasted that savory, robust, orgasmic Red Wine Vinaigrette Dressing. Well, this is one bachelor who is not letting his Cinderella slip into the oversized hands of Jared. STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY SUB, FATMAN!

However, I do have a confession to make though. On Sundays, when Susan (my Double Cheese Melt) isn't looking, I sometimes get the urge to fondle the Small Garden Salad and treat in a health-code-violating manner the Carrot Bundt Cake. I talked with my clergyman, Russ who works the midnight shift, and he told me these feelings of anxiousness and confusion where natural during these times. I hope he's right.

I don't think I can ever love another 8 inch deli specialty quite like Susan.
5835, am I the only one....
