PLOT IN A NUTSHELL:
If the bad guys acquire the MacGuffin, the Earth is doomed.
If the good guys acquire the MacGuffin, the Earth is saved.
Just so happens, one lone human boy unknowingly has the secret to the location of the MacGuffin and becomes the improbable hero at the end of the film.
A lotta shit blows up real good in between.
