52915, So you think... Posted by queenisisdivine, Fri Jul-13-07 05:51 AM
this is too much detail?
I whistled for a cab and when it came near the Licensplate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air
I pulled up to a house about seven or eight And I yelled to the cabby "yo, home smell you later" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air
He mentions the license plate, dice in the mirror and that it was rare. That's 3 minor things about the cab. Then adds in when he arrived and the fact that he said goodbye in a comical manner. (Now if he said there were crumbs in between the seats and that the driver had a bald head that would be extra). IMO what he points out is pretty fitting.
Like a previous poster already said, in the original version Will describes his flight to Philly and mentions how in first class they were drinking orange juice outta champange glasses. I thought the overall point of the intro was simply to describe what lead to him going/how he got to BelAir period.
