People just can't do crazy shit like spin the world backwards if no previous hints to such an ability (Or, in the case of intervention by the gods, omnipotent beings) has been hinted at before
Also, if Supes can fly around the world faster than the speed of light, why come he couldn't fly fast enough to catch both missiles?
