He's obviously not stupid, but I don't think anyone in their right mind would venture to call him intelligent either... maybe "smartass" if you catch him on a good day... which apparently, we haven't...

I'm thinking he's one of those people that likes to hear themselves talk, and possibly hating on something objective takes his mind off how shitty his soul is...
