Well the Kid wasn't affected by the Kryptonite cause he only took superman's trait of Straight. And took the weakness as a human from Lois, hints the asthma. And Lois got it on with supes in Superman 2. The real question is that, Superman got it on with Lois when he was powerless. So this kid couln't have powers...unless, his supes DNA is so strong it still pass some traits. Many people were confuse due to this cause you had to watch Superman 1 & 2.
