the art was a revelation for me at the time... he did so much shit that nobody else was going in terms of composition, design and even inking (i remember how notable it was that Sif's hair was rendered pure black! it might seem odd now, but back then there were hardly any solid blacks like that in comics and black hair always had blue highlights)

the stories were som'n else, too... Beta Ray Bill, Thor the Thunder-Frog... good times.
