Every character in that movie is a grade-A stereotype.

I mean, they even have the white trash mom sucking the tit of the government stealing from her daughter. Seriously.

The acting is good in it. I can't take away from Hilary Swank in that movie, who did the damn thing. And the filmmaking is good, the cinematography and what have you.

But man, I'm sorry. The story sucks. They suck you in the first time you see it with the big twist. But the writing is not good, at all (Paul Haggis writing only for stereotypes?? I'm SHOCKED). And I just can't get down for a film where every character is one you've seen a hundred times before.
