i mean at face value he's fairly one dimensional. but he really isn't. you're right, after a few episodes you start to realise there's more to him than meets the eye.

and yeah, he's funny. unlike most one dimensional sitcom characters who are 'quirky' for the sake of being quirky.

i honestly think the show as a whole is a stroke of genius.
