My point was that you might miss jokes of that nature completely...
Like, shit... do you know what British people think is funny? How much of that translates to your average American mind?
and, for the record, I never said the show needed a laugh track...
I said, it doesn't have one, and if a joke of the above nature were to appear, you might miss it completely... not because it's not funny, just because you didn't even know that shit was a joke...
