the teacher of the scriptwriting workshop, who says something like 'if you have to rely on narration, forget it'. Adaptation is heavily narrated.
I always liked the narration in Goodfellas except when it changes voiced. Narration in Casino (basically a remake of Goodfellas) was annoying.
