-Eric Stoltz was shot half of Back to the Future as Marty McFly.
-Bad Boys (1995) was originally conceived as a vehicle for Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz rather than Martin and Will.
-Puffy was approached about playing WIlly Beamen in "Any Given Sunday" AND Chris Rock's role in Lethal weapon 4.
-Kool G Rap turned down the beat for Black Rob's "Whoah" (I know that's not movie related but it still angers me greatly.
-Lucas and Spielberg wanted Tom Selleck for Indiana Jones
-Chappelle Turned down the role of Bubba in Forrest Gump
What other near misses were out there in movie land, and how would the films have been different if things had gone according to (someone's) plan?
