if it weren't for the reputations of kaufman and jonze, i wouldn't entertain for one second the idea of seeing this movie.

having seen the preview, it took me about 3 1/2 seconds before deciding, no way.

though i know that previews aren't always the best marker (the best example of this being rushmore) of a film/filmmaker's work, this one really looks like a dud. plus i can't stand nic cage.
