If Guardians of the Galaxy is setup for Phase 3, I'm surprised that there's a huge gap between now and Avengers 2. I would think that there would be another one. Or maybe they had Cap 2 later in the year and had another movie after Thor 2. Plus, though people seemed to like it, it didn't seem like Iron Man 3 did much to further Phase 2. After the first Avengers movie, I thought all the Marvel movies would do what Cap 2 did so well, which is tell its own story AND keep developing the bigger Avengers story line.

I can see why they didn't do another Hulk movie, since the first two weren't so great, and Avengers proved that he's way more effective as an unpredictable supporting character...but something else?
