science fiction that covers how human ruined earth are now cliche. CHECK! (so, it stands to reason that ANY film subsequent to AE that cover this territory is CLICHE).
jaden's acting is a "work in progress"...the kid lauded for karate kid and pursuit of happyness now can' act. CHECK! (convenient).
M Night backhanded compliment. CHECK!
he don't wanna see SFX monsters no more. he literally said he can go the rest of this life without seeing it. CHECK! (stands to reason he won't like any film that has these kinds of monsters)
