for him to know exactly how he's being held up with the long chain in the lab makes no sense. i mean he could figure out that Jesse was alive and cooking for the Aryans by force but for him to know the exact set up doesn't add up. Also why would his plan include Jesse killing Todd? That's his revenge based on the torture Todd specifically put him through which Walt has no clue about either.

If this is all supposed to be Walt envisioning his plan (and not a dream or his imagination just running), he wouldn't envision himself discovering that Jesse must be the one good the math based on a conversation with Badger and them. he would just assuming it from having seen the news story and act accordingly.
